RETURNS & REFUNDS
We carefully curate every item at The Garment Atelier and want you to be fully satisfied with your purchase. As we specialize in pre-loved, one-of-a-kind designer items, we kindly ask you to review all product descriptions and images carefully before placing an order.

RETURN ELIGIBILITY
You may request a return provided that all of the following conditions are met:
- A return request is submitted within 14 days of receiving your order
- The item is unused, unworn, and undamaged
- The original return tag is still attached and has not been removed or altered
- The item is returned in its original packaging
- The item has not been personalized or specially sourced on request
Returns that do not meet these conditions will not be accepted.
HOW TO REQUEST A RETURN
To request a return, please contact us by email and include your order number:

Once your return request has been approved, you will receive instructions on how to proceed.
Please do not send returns without prior approval.
RETURN PERIOD
You have 14 days from the date of delivery to request a return.
After approval, the item must be shipped back within the timeframe provided.
Return requests submitted after this period cannot be accepted.
CONDITION & INSPECTION
All returned items are carefully inspected upon arrival.
If an item shows signs of use, damage, odor, or if the return tag has been removed, we reserve the right to refuse the return or issue a partial or no refund.
RETURN SHIPPING COSTS
Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.
All return shipments must be sent fully insured and registered.
The Netherlands & Belgium
- Orders under €750 → €9,95
- Orders between €750 and €2000 → €12,95
- Orders over €2000 → €14,95
For return shipments outside of the Netherlands and Belgium, we will discuss the costs specifically for that case.
Returns that are not insured or registered will not be accepted.
REFUNDS
Once your return has been received and approved, the refund will be processed to the original payment method.
Please note:
- Shipping costs are non-refundable
- If a promotional discount was applied, the refunded amount will reflect the amount actually paid
- Refunds may take 5–10 business days to appear, depending on your payment provider
INCORRECT OR DAMAGED ITEMS
If you have received an item that differs from the description or arrived damaged, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery.
Include clear photos and your order number so we can assist you promptly.
IMPORTANT NOTES
- Returns without prior approval will not be accepted
- We reserve the right to refuse returns that do not comply with this policy
- The Garment Atelier is not responsible for lost return shipments
