HOW TO CARE FOR YOUR VINTAGE PIECE
CARE INSTRUCTIONS
With proper care, a vintage designer item can be enjoyed for years to come. Natural materials such as leather may evolve over time, developing patina, subtle color changes, and character unique to each piece.
To help preserve the beauty and longevity of your item, we recommend the following care guidelines ->
CARING FOR YOUR DESIGNER BAG
Protect your item from moisture, oily substances, and cosmetic products such as makeup, sunscreen, perfume, and alcohol-based products, as these may cause staining or damage to the material.
Avoid contact with sharp objects and excessive friction, which may affect the surface of the leather or hardware.
WEARING & DAILY USE
Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight, artificial light, and heat, as this may lead to discoloration or drying of the leather.
If your item comes into contact with water, gently pat it dry using a soft, absorbent cloth.
Do not overload your bag, and allow it to rest between uses. Using a bag insert can help protect the interior and maintain the item’s shape during wear.
LEATHER CARE & RESTORATION
Regular maintenance, light conditioning, or professional restoration can help keep your item in optimal condition. We recommend treating leather items approximately every 24 months, or more frequently if worn regularly.

STORING YOUR DESIGNER ITEM
When not in use, store your item in its dust bag and box whenever possible. Gently fill the interior with tissue paper or a bag insert to help preserve its shape.
For items with chain straps or hardware, ensure they are properly wrapped or placed inside the bag to prevent impressions or marks on the leather.
